Adam: Hi everyone, Adam with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima off-grid roof mounted cargo basket on our 2020 Chrysler Pacifica. Well on our Pacifica here, one thing that I thought initially when I got in, a lot of seating. There's a lot of people that we can fit in this van whenever we're going on a trip or something like that. And a lot of people means a lot of stuff. So even with that third row up and people occupying those seats, we're not going to have a whole lot of trunk space. more

MaxxTow Roof Mounted Cargo Basket Review - 2020 Chrysler Pacifica- Video
Hi everyone, Adam with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the MaxxTow roof mounted cargo basket on our 2020 Chrysler Pacifica.So on our Pacifica here, we have quite a bit of space to put our people; a lot of seats, three rows, but honestly, leg room is kind of at a minimum. So if we're going on a trip to Florida, somewhere far away, it's going to just be ideal to get all of our stuff out and up on to our basket. Just because I always like to have plenty of legroom, and you guys probably know better than me when the kids are comfy in the back, when you're going on long trips, they're usually happier, which makes everybody a lot more happy.So we are going to have a steel construction with a nice powder coated finish, so it's going to match our factory bars pretty well. It's not too glossy, not too flat. Also, we are going to have about 38 and a half inches by 34 and a half inches of space and these sidewalls here are going to come up about three and a quarter inches. more

Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket Review - 2018 Chrysler Pacifica- Video
Speaker 1: Today, in our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica we're going to be test fitting the Thule Canyon XT Roof Basket, part number TH859XT. The Thule Canyon XT is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof. Now, if you have a minivan such as this one, you know that the more space you have the better. Here you can see we have luggage, we have a cooler, you can also have sporting goods equipment, anything you want to keep out from inside the minivan that could possibly make it dirty or just free up some space.While it doesn't come with the straps that you see here, it does provide plenty of tie down points for these straps to secure your loads to the cargo basket. These straps you can find on etrailer.com. With our hatch open, you can see you're not going to have any issues of clearance between the hatch and our cargo basket. more

Rhino Rack Roof Basket Review - 2018 Chrysler Pacifica- Video
Speaker 1: Today in our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica we're gonna be test fitting the Rhino Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket part number RMCB. The Rhino Rack Cargo Basket is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof and freeing up space inside your vehicle. As you can see we have luggage, we have a cooler and you can also carry sporing goods equipment as well. The basket itself does not come with the tie downs available but it has plenty of points to attach those tie downs to, to secure your load while you drive. You can find these straps on etrailer.com. With everything loaded up you can see we're not going to have an issue of clearance between our rear hatch and our basket. more

Thule Roof Basket Review - 2017 Chrysler Pacifica- Video
Today in our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to be testing the Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket, part number: TH859XT. Our cargo basket is great for keeping things out of your vehicle that you don't want in there or to make more space for you and your family while you are traveling. It can carry a wide variety of items ranging from luggage to sporting goods equipment to coolers. The cargo basket has a nice aerodynamic shape to it and that, coupled with the fairing that's installed in the front, you're going to experience less wind noise and drag while you're driving. The measurements are going to be 49" long by 40" wide by 6" tall at its highest point. We also have several points here which you can use as a tie-down for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. It has a carrying capacity of 150 pounds, although you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that weight. Also, with the cargo basket in its current position, we're not going to have any issues of clearance between our actual hatch and the cargo basket itself. First we'll go ahead and set our cargo basket onto our roof rack, lining up our brackets at the front here. We're going to have to make some adjustments to bring our rear brackets where they need to be. You're going to have two bolts on the inside here. more

Rhino Rack Roof Basket Review - 2017 Chrysler Pacifica- Video
Today on our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica we're going to be test fitting the Rhyno-Rack Roof Mounted Cargo Basket, part number RMCB. The Rhino-Rack Cargo Basket is great for keeping any items you don't want on the inside of your vehicle to make more space for you and your family while you travel. It can carry anything from sporting goods equipment to camping gear to coolers. The basket's aerodynamic shape, coupled with the fairing that does come installed, it's going to cut down wind noise and drag while you're driving. The basket measures 47" long by 35" wide by about 6" tall at these points here. It has a carrying capacity of 165 pounds, although you want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that weight. With our current position that the basket's in, we're not going to have any clearance issues between the hatch and the cargo basket itself. Now we can go ahead and set our cargo basket onto our roof rack and push it into place. more

Curt Roof Basket Review - 2017 Chrysler Pacifica- Video
Today on our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to be test-fitting the CURT Roof Mounted Cargo Basket, Part Number C18115. Your CURT Cargo Basket is great for carrying a wide variety of items that you don't want to keep in your vehicle to possibly make more space for you and your family. Some things you can put in the cargo basket range from luggage to sporting goods equipment to camping gear to coolers. To cut down wind noise and drag, the cargo basket does come with this fairing. It has a nice sturdy construction to it. Because of the bars, you have several tie-down points for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. The measurements of this cargo basket are 41-1/2" long X 37" wide x 4" tall. more
